Introduction to DaVinci Resolve workspace
• Overview of the workspace and DaVinci Resolve’s Pages (Media, Cut, Edit, Fusion, Colour, Fairlight and Deliver)
• Basic navigation and keyboard shortcuts
• Importing video, audio, and images
• Organising files and projects
Starting a Rough Cut edit
• Setting up a new project
• Adding clips to the timeline and understanding track layers
• Basic editing tools: Selection, Trim, Blade, and Slip
• Basic trimming techniques for removing unwanted footage
Working with Audio
• Importing audio files and adding them to the timeline
• Basic audio editing: adjusting levels, adding fades
• Mixing audio
Transitions and Effects
• Adding basic transitions (Cut, Dissolve, Fade)
• Using the Effects Library for simple visual effects

Text and Titles
